PATRICK IS THE WORST STYLIST I have ever had the displeasure allowing to cut my hair. Not only was my hair cut uneven, chopped up but he literally cut holes on the sides to the point my new, and great stylist, had to cut my hair shorter to try and repair all his damage.. Needless to say this was very upsetting and all of this after no one but TWO consultations with Patrick regarding what I wanted...DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!!

The staff was very friendly, the salon is nice but I was not happy with my cut. It is choppy and uneven my bangs look like they were cut with plastic kiddie scissors. I didn't get the cut that I asked for and I had made myself clear with explanations and pictures. I washed it when I got home, and it is a choppy uneven mess. I am very very dissapointed.

Changez is a terrific salon, offering full service and catering to the needs of a wide variety of clientele. If you want a weekly wash and set, they'll provide it. If you want the most happening new style, straight off the streets of New York, they will amaze you. The staff at Changez is a very professional team. They will deliver high end service without the high end price tag, and make you feel very comfortable while they do it. Jason is, without a doubt, the best stylist I've ever known. I have high maintenance hair - it's long, thick and very curly. Most stylists have no idea how to cut curls, and for years I resented my hair because it was always so difficult to manage. Jason actually let me love my curls! His cut and color are the unsurpassed, and he's really well informed about the best method of managing many different types of hair. He's the sort of stylist who is so good at his trade that you just sit down in his chair and say, "I'd like a change and I'm thinking of something like this..." or "I really like the length and cut I have, I just need my hair to look fresher..." or even, "I dunno, what do you think would look good?" and he'll take it from there. I've recently relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area after being a client at Changez for more than 5 years. It's beautiful here and I love California, but I miss Jason! Even on the west coast, few stylists are up to the Changez standard or possess the talent and skill that Jason and the rest of the crew there commands. I recommend Changez highly!

I am new to the royal oak area and visited changez salon to get some services rendered. I was pleasently suprised by their great prices and very friendly staff. I had my hair done by Kami and she is excellent. I have never felt more confortable having someone color my hair, but she made me understand what she was doing along with her very tredy way of cutting my hair. While during my visit she told me about a girl that worked there, Diana, who does make-up, facials, and body waxing. I had her wax my eyebrows and she did a excellent job. I am very particular about my eyebrows and she explained everything she was doing the entire time. She made me very comfortable. Also, I have never had a facial and with the way her skin looked I gave it a shot and had an amazing facial by her. I felt like a teenager again. I am so happy I found this salon, and amazed at the knowledge and professionalism the staff has and excellent job that they do. You can have everything you want under one roof. I love it!!!! They have my business for good.

I have been to plenty of salons in downtown and in other cities, nothing compares to the awesome staff at changez. They make you feel comfortable with that "corner salon" atmosphere, but a salon that has great edge with the "downtown" feeling with color and cuts. They have great hours so you don't have trouble getting in for an appointment. I have been a client for about 3 months and have loved it very much. They don't make you feel like you have to visit the same stylist everytime, they are open to you seeing the others in the salon. I have had Kami, Heather, Ann, and Jennifer and they all do great work and work as a team and you can sense that. This salon does everything across the board, color, cut, make-up, waxing, nails, and even facials. Great salon to visit.
